Lovely--I see (on first glance) a lovely, almost serpentine diagonal. I have tried to roughly sketch what I saw. I think it is more about gentle curves than about naked.
Cotton Carrier. Gets my personal first choice. (also my second, third and fourth choice.)

So I have cataracts?
Nope, didn't say that--I said I used to, so all my colors were off at least when I look back now!

So did they all until my cataracts were removed!

I've noticed and always wondered why when posting images of the same subject someone would include a mediocre at best image or images along with those of stellar quality.
Sometimes those of us who would like to advance need some some advice from you "pros" to help our editing skills. This is a place to get that. I have posted one photograph six times and guess what? Responses as to which one was the best varied from one response to the next. When reasons for the response were given I use that for my consideration the next time. It is called learning not just exhibiting--there are other places on the net to just exhibit. Does any one really think that their choice is the only "stellar" one?
I'll take the tree! Many cottonwoods were planted by early settlers for quick shade but only in the draws and ravines did they live to be this big. I found one a little bigger in South Dakota but not by much. Oh, and model is lovely too.
Lovely! I like the fact that what infrared or ultraviolet "sees" our eyes can't. I shoot it all the time and share the results almost never. Why never? What pleases my eye is personal and not shared by others so I shoot, adjust and print just to please me. And this photograph definitely pleases my eye!
Come on Timber's--it was my actual observation! And furthermore it was an explanation that I believe that the emotional response to the whole image is what the image should be about. No, not all of us will see the same thing if we are honest. Jaded as I am by a youth spent with book thumping parents, the idea of the serpent as a symbol of desire and the beautiful woman, as the same, that is one response. Sixty years I no longer have to bear that shame!!! The other response is shivers up and down my spine for the reasons stated above and no the ball python does not have the fangs that hang out and which I saw so clearly and still see in my dreams so that is a visceral response. Again the desire thingy, we were a bunch of "nature guys" and WANTED that specimen!
Yeah, I do that Photoshop thing and I agree the planning can save a lot of Post process grief and you do it well.
My mind goes to the snake. Historically the snake involves so Much, much symbolism that the pictures could say, possibly, thousands of different things to different observers (hundreds if not tens may be involved.) As a 16 year kid I nearly picked up a 6 foot cobra thinking it was a harmless water snake in which case I wouldn't be here a now confirmed curmudgeon. When it reared up and spread it's hook I set an olympic record for the rear, standing long jump. Managed to hold on to my butterfly net that had him pinned down in the middle. Bad dreams you have just revived.

The apparent size differential certainly does emphasize the "dominate/submissive" look and feeling. Sometimes, and in this case and setting, it works to a great advantage. Sometimes it results, for me, from the fact that I don't have sufficient room to use anything but a wide angle lens (and, of course, I often use a very wide zoom just because I happen to have one). These is a discord here between the facial expressions of the models as the face of the sub seems more like the face of a tortured soul rather than that of a willing submissive. Perhaps that discord is why my thoughts become reflective. I think (emphasis on personal thinking) that a bit of a darker view might trouble (it is a good thing) my mind more. I hope this is more critique and less criticism that a lot of what I see here. Welcome back .
I'll try to remember that. Right now I would like them to be a throw in with the printer--sort of a bonus to get someone to want the whole thing! :) It is age--not the printer buts mine--starting to downsize.
Used until just a couple weeks ago when the yellow ink ran out. Great prints. All parts and manual. Ink comes in 110 ml or 220 ml and has all 220 installed except yellow which is empty. Also a 220 magenta and photo black (go for about $110 each (street)). $400 and pick up only (it weighs a ton, actually about 200 lbs) Wife says it has to go as you can see it is on a furniture dolly in the DINING room. Respond by PM here. Northern Indiana
Really, really nice. They use the characteristics of IR to the maximum!
