Thanks under what circumstances is a Polarizer called far.

My first thought on need is protection. Second thought is for F stop control on reflective areas like beeches although I think ISO is much fasters than 30 yrs ago. But that is why I am asking?

Purchased a new cannon camera with 24-105 requires 77mm lense.
What filters do I need and in what what order should they be purchased in? Protection first and artistic order second.
Any brand recommendations'?

I have a Surface 4. I purchased new about two years ago about 2 k with all the accessories.
I purchased a new Yoga 720 Core I5 8th generation this past Xmas at Best Buy for $699.00 about 60 % less. The weight difference is not noticeable, has larger screen more connectivity & finger print reader.

The Surface 4 has not been used since the Yoga was purchased. I no longer would even consider a Surface. It is twice as many $$$ and 50% slower than the Yoga. I also would not consider purchasing a computer I5 that was not an 8th generation of Intel Core 5

I was about to purchase a new 35mm camera system from Abe's of Main until I read the negative reports yesterday. Not even one positive vote. So what do members think of? 42nd St. Photo NY NY?
