I spent many years involved in salon/competitive photography. And during those years I listened to commentators talk about the "rules" of composition. 1/3-2/3 position of the main subject, lead-in lines, impact, well we have all heard them. I'm even guilty of using those clichés myself when I was commenting. Here is a perfect example of using the scene to tell a story. It is easy on the eye and very well done. Thumbs up.

This is a rerun with larger files. I originally posted the photos when 4 grandkids, two at 5 yo, one at 3 and one at 2, running around. Hope these show better. Hope to get back to some serious travel soon. At least we have done some domestic travel and plan on Mexico in February.

It has been a while since a submitted any photos.
We just returned from our 2600 miles road trip to the Black Hills. On the way we made a few stops. One was at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Highly recommend if you have no been there. These are a few of the photos taken there. All were hand held with on my T2i with the kit long zoom lens. More photos from that trip will follow.

Nice set of photos. We are fortunate to have a fine air museum here in Kalamazoo too. My wife and I will be doing a road trip to the Black Hills area at the end of the month. I just may have to drag her to this museum. She's not so much into aircraft museums but I go to places she like too.
