Aye, Scotland is a photogenic country. I'm envious of your trip. My last trip there is where I really discovered just how fantastic clouds can be--Scotland seems to have more than her share of beautiful clouds--color and texture.
3 is the best--love the colors--magnificent!
Great action shot. Makes it look so unlikely that the thing can fly when you catch it like that.

Giving it serious thought as a 72" print under acrylic.
Yep--definitely one to spend (or make) money on. Beautiful colors and composition. Envious.
I just recently upgraded to a new digital camera and now have an older digital as well as a film camera that I need to find new homes for. The only thing is that they are too old to sell--except to someone who really wanted them (but since I see many listings for them on e-bay with no apparent takers), I don't know if that route is viable. I'd love to donate them somewhere where they would be useful, but don't know where to start.
The cameras are an Olympus IS-3 film camera with bag as well as X2 and X.8 zooms and a Canon Powershot G2 (4 whopping megapixels) and bag.
Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks
Gordon
I'd also suggest the National Cathedral. It has a tremendous location on a hill and of course, is a cathedral with all the beauty and architecture that goes with that.
Also, probably some cool (albeit challenging due to low light) architectural opportunities in the Metro (subway).
College campuses, Georgetown and American U have some cool buildings.
Agree on al the previous ideas as well.
This first is really brilliant. like the effect.
