Reading about and seeing pictures related to peoples' dreams has been wonderful. Your story particularly spoke to me. I am a pianist, studying piano from the time I was 8 through college and receiving a Bachelor of Music Degree (a performance degree). I always dreamt of being a concert pianist and, in some ways, I was on my way. I joined a newly formed symphony after moving to Seattle but, before I even attended a practice, I fell in love and followed another dream. When I returned, I gave private piano lessons for a number of years along with some other things. Again, my life went another way but I did keep my piano up. The one thing that impressed me about your story was that you never gave up and eventually did and are doing what you love. So many people through the years, knowing that I played, would say they always regretted not continuing to play. That's why you have impressed me so.
To all the others participating in this challenge, I commend you for obtaining your dreams. It takes a lot to do so, no matter what the dream may be. My life went in different ways than what I dreamt but I have no regrets. I've been lucky and done things I've really enjoyed and had experiences some/many never have. Interestingly enough, photography has been a great part of it. My dream now, is to get out and about at some point, have a bunch more road trips and some out-of-the-way experiences, and photograph all that I see. If I have some extra time, I will find a few pictures which exemplify what I'm looking forward to again.

I am glad you are still playing, you are correct I know some people who also wish they had continued (I do not play anything). Good luck on the photography dream!
