You can’t go wrong with Black Rapid. I have using one for several years with no issues and no neck pain carrying a Canon with a 500 mm lens.

I have this lens and the focus ring moves freely no matter in AF or MF.

Very nice, Topaz did a good job getting rid of the noise.

I believe these are American Goldfinch’s based on the wing bar and the yellow on the head. Winter plumage.

Bad news do not use them. Roberts in Indianapolis is very good and I have been using them for years.

My primary concern with the R6 (which I just rented) is cropping, but maybe with a monster lens like the 100/500 that wouldn't be an issue too often?

How often do you find that you can't crop as much as you need to without unacceptable IQ loss?

I have cropped down to a 3 megapixel image and the IQ is still very good. The R6 does have a 1.6 crop factor setting but you do lose megapixels.

I have the R6 and the RF 100/500 and mainly only use it for birds. The RF lens is so much lighter than the Sigma and Tamron and is very sharp. I came from. 7d mkii and the EF 100/400L lens and the R6 does a lot better job. You cannot go wrong with the R6.
