I took a few pix this evening. We have so much tradition and many generational decorations. Here are some for today. I took them in the "dark" and purposely didn't bring the exposure up much. This tree is in our bay window and highly visible from the street. It is the tree on which all our adult son's ornaments go and others that are handmade, wood or anything not glass. A number of the ornaments are from places we've visited out of the country. Each ornament has a story. The last is a window bow on some boughs. All our windows are decorated with window candles and first floor doors and windows have bows an boughs. My husband makes them - cuts pine boughs and wires all together. The bokeh is created by the living room tree in the background. (I went outside for pic 2 and 3) We live in a 200 + year old farm house so our decorations are more or less of the bygone days. I have inherited so many ornaments I have no clue what to do with all of them!

Although planning a good composition while preparing to take a photo is a great thing to do, sometimes there are obsticals that can't be

Good one.

That old saying, "Shoot for the crop".

SInce Wednesdays are my busiest days, ta da....drumroll, edgorm. These are the best rainbow pix I've ever captured. Made a complete dome right over trees on a knoll in our back yard. It was a faint double.

Nice double.

It's a dry moisture though, right? Nice catch.

Thank you.

Nothing dry about monsoon season. Dew points starting at 55 +++ and humidity around 70% along with the 110 degree temps. But monsoon is only from July through the end of September.
