I’ve been on two cruises, loved it! The food was great! The staff were very meticulous with cleaning. A person can become ill in ways other than eating on a ship. You can catch airborne illnesses in the stores, doctors offices, workplace, church, restaurants and more! I was a teacher for over 30 years, some years I caught stuff, other years I did not. Everything is a gamble in life, but don’t let it stop you for getting out there and enjoying life!

Great shots, very interesting! I especially enjoyed the first and last photos.
Thank you for your post Compphoto. Advice given by one who knows, informative.
I also advocate for the Canon Pixma Pro 10. It is the best upgrade I have done. Photo quality is super. I too am a brick and mortar person, or I was, but I do business with B&H online and now am hooked on doing business with them. I have not had or heard any bad things about them.
I am a blonde and I totally laughed at these! They are funny!
Stunning orchid, nice job of photographing it!
Yes it is a kookaburra. It is at the Shell Factory Nature Center. They took him out to let me get closer to photograph him when they saw I was taking photos through the netting!
Various bird shots taken locally.
Carol, the photos are stunning! I love orchids myself and you did them justice on their beauty.
I have a Canon T6i which was an upgrade for me from my first Canon Rebel from years ago! I also purchased a Canon 24 mm lens, a Canon 50 mm lens, and of course the 2 lenses that came with the camera. Recently I added a Tamon 150-600mm lens to my gear. I added a benro travel angel tripod with ball head when I realized that the big lens was too much for my other tripod I already had Tamron set of 3 screw on lens filters(?) caps to use for macro shots from my first Canon Rebel. I do still have my first Rebel. I still have my speedlite from earlier and it is good with my current camera. I know I am missing something but this is what I have.
I start taking classes with the Englewood art Center tomorrow (affiliates of the Ringling Art College) to help me get a better handle on it all so I can move from mostly auto mode to more me controlling the camera. In 10 weeks I hope I have a better handle on my camera and gear!
I live in Englewood ( just south of Venice and Sarasota County)
