I like your photos. I was raised in West Texas but now live in South New Jersey just across The Delaware form Pennsylvania. Here are some of mine that should be on topic.

Curious about the right eye of the lioness on the fifth photo. Was that a flash reflection as red eye in humans or green eye in dogs, or was that the actual eye color for this lioness?

are the animals in lower right a phenomenon from the zooming on the giraffe ? I think I was using a 70-210 zoom w/ adapter

That sure is weird. Have never had lens distortion like that before.

I like to take photos at the zoo. I will sometimes get lucky and catch the fawna at their most interesting poses. I am not as good as some but better than others. Like the gorilla, I wasted space in front of it but I stll liked the foto.

Proud as a peackock?

Love the picture. Very expressive. I enhanced the color just a little bit with picasa, hope you don't mind. Welcome to group :)

Raised in California where I joined The Marine Corps in 1965. After a tour in Nam, I worked for a company that displaced me to Jersey and was just as abruptly laid off. Went to work for the NJ Turnpike where I retired after 20 years.

I'v been taking photos for a long time but can't seem to get the creative ability I wish I had. I learn the tech of the camera but my photos seem so ordinary. Maybe I can learn a thing or two from this forum. This is one of my best shots.
