To answer your question - Yes I can do all of the above files except I do not use their music. I import other music instead. I also use video from a go-pro camera mixed in as well.

an example of the last time I updated a video is on line which is at this address:
www.afdasf.org <> once there click on the CENTER picture which is the first vietnam veterans memorial is the USA. once in that page slide down and click on the play button. this is a 35 minute video. this was updated 03-12-2022. enjoy the video!

There were the steps that I followed as present to me by the proshow company rep.
1. uninstall via windows.
2. remove any directories left on the HDD
3. do a search of your HDD for the following file and remove it. >>> *.phd <<<
4. shut down for 5 minutes by unplugging your cpu
5. restart everything and let windows settle. watch your hdd light for very little activity
6. install as if this is a fresh or new install and use all of the defaults as suggested
7. reboot the cpu
8. choose your last fully working video you have all of the files for and start by reloading the files into the program. this file should be a *.psh file and may have other files with it such as *.pax & *.poh
9. DO NOT SAVE ANY CHANGES YOU MAKE TO THIS SET OF FILES. if necessary copy the entire folder into a new separate folder and work from that one.
10. try to do what you could not do prior to all of this. If it works great. If it does not then it will be a windows problem due to the many changes Microsoft makes in the many updates.

you should have the following files
1. proshow styles 1
2. proshow transitions pack 1
3. the install file from photodex >>>> pspro_90_3797.exe <> this contains the blue ray driver, presenter for stand alone etc.

Don't have the above then contact me with your actual email address and I will zip up the files and set up a download for you to get them. You will need to have the ability to unzip at your end to open the files. all of this must be done on you cpu in a dedicated folder for proshow. DO NOT LOOSE YOUR REGISTRATION CODE.

Good luck

I had this problem just prior to Photodex shutting down. There reply to me was to reinstall the software package over the existing install. If this did not clear up the problem then to remove the program by uninstalling. Then REBOOT the cpu prior to reinstalling the software. If you have the last version of the software downloaded just before they closed up shop then you should have your registration number / all of the down load programs etc. on hand.

Should you not then please contact me direct and I can make a copy of everything that I have here and forward it to you. >>> Warning <<< you must have your registration number or do not remove the program from your cpu.

Does anyone still use this software? They shut down so there is no support. I upgraded before they did because I liked it a lot. Now when I try to save it doesn't work, get a block over the video that says, "this software may be used illegally". Have tried several ways. Does anyone know anything about this?

=======================

First step is to uninstall using the windows uninstaller. Then remove all directories containing references to the program. Program Files (x86) section.
Second is to shut the CPU down and UNPLUG from AC Power for 8 to 10 minutes.
Third then reinstall as ADMINISTRATOR only.
This should correct this problem.
There are a bunch of us still using this program and the blogs are very active.

Try this to fix your problem. It has worked in the past for a number of different problems. This was suggest by tech support a number of years ago I think about version 5 or 6.

On the C: drive in the >program files (x86) >photodex >proshow (Gold or Producer) > delete the file *.PHD. This will remove the indexing and locations and force proshow to re-index and setup. It is the re-setup that you want to have happen. Should your directory index get scrambled or will not show new directories that have been added this will fix that also.

Should this not fix your problem then the next step according to the Tech Support people was to take a copy of Proshow Gold or Producer and reinstall OVER the existing copy. If the trouble continues to exist then Tech Support suggested that the entire program be uninstalled and then you reboot your machine and reinstall. This appears to be a common problem with one certain windows 10 update. This update was fixed on a later update from Microsoft. It did not see to affect the Windows 7 system.

Been using Proshow Gold then switched to Producer since version 1. I have a number of videos on line but all are with out sound except one. Visit www.polkcounty.org/video and have a look.

For the Military Veterans I have one special video at www.afdasf.org. The American Legion and The VFW both will tell you that this is well worth the watch. Click on the center picture to view the video and this does have sound. This is a military site so there is other info there as well.

Enjoy

Check in my section on the web page www.afdasf.org and see if this slide is the one you are talking about. Also check the temple with the Buddha in it and the kid out front. I believe this was taken just west of Qui Nhon on QL-19 maybe 3 clicks from QL-1. I got the kid into trouble for taking pictures of the Buddha and the Koreans had to step in and smooth things out with the locals.

Sound familiar ! I just call in the A1e's to drop what ever they had on the targets. Never had a FAC with me. I was at that time an E3 - A2c old standard of rank doing the work of a Captain. Web page has a lot of what I did and then there is a lot that I cannot put on line. Glad to hear you got back in one piece. I am classed 100% with lots of troubles that makes life somewhat questionable. But I just keep plugging away. Check out the video page - I got about 75 up there and this is where all of the extended family goes to see what and where I have been that year !

Thank you for the info.

As for the what the military terms mean:

ROMAD = Recon Observe Mark and Destroy - Forward Air Control Party with a FAC and the MRC-108 Radio Command Jeep. See webpage below.
TACP / JTAC = What we are called today = Tactical Air Control Party - Forward also some are jump qualified including HALO.
RoK's = Republic of South Korea Tiger Division / Capital Division / and Blue Dragon Marines. Second largest force in Vietnam.

Was assigned to the RoK 2nd Inf Division in S. Korea in 65 - Home base Osan AB just south of Seoul - and I was sent TDY 6 mos WITH the RoK's to
South Vietnam. We were located in the Qui Nhon area on QL-19 - Qui Nhon to Pleiku's main highway and just off the QL-1 N/S Highway. Tiger Town was south west of Qui Nhon on the other side of the mountain ridge. The RoK's were one fantastic fighting machine.

If interested take a look at my web page www.afdasf.org click on the right icon for DASF and find my name under the 4th DASF.
DASF = Direct Air Support Flight (29 men / 12 airman and balance were officers).

In addition to that the First Vietnam Veterans National Memorial was built During the war. I have created a video of this memorial which is located at Angel Fire New Mexico. This memorial was built during the war - 1968~1971. Video run time is 50 minutes and is considered a video well worth the watch.

Greetings

How to I get to the photography forum digest list for the entire month of Feb 2018?

I was in the hospital for Feb and would like to get the list of post in the photos section for each day of the month of Feb. I figure that there is a place somewhere here I can get the links to go to that daily group of photos but do not know where it is located. This is located in the email that I received each day. Unfortunately one of the kids wiped out all of the February emails on the server.

Any help on this would be most welcome.
