Try Cades Cove.Lots of old log cabins there. Also Little Green Brier area.Almost all roads will be open by then.Go to Sugarlands visitors center for information and directions. I live here and I love it.Enjoy
You can use a Pelican case but they are costly and by the time you get it open and get your camera ready you may have missed an opportunity
There is a good walk out of Metcalf Bottom up little greenbrier. It goes by little greenbrier school house and on to Walker sisters cabin. Both log structures.
Hello, I live here and love it.Be sure you visit Cades Cove. It is a must see.Have a safe trip and enjoy.
I take mine in canoes and kayaks.Buy a pelican case.
When you really enjoy doing something never do it for Proffit. Then it becomes work and is no longer fun.
Take them to the park.(works best if you have more than one ) Let them get busy playing then back off and use a long lens. If they don’t notice you takeing pictures you can get some natural looking shots.Seems to work well for me.
Well after reading comments I will say that I like to shoot nature but my wife likes to do photos so it looks as though I need to give up and buy both and just give her one.lol
I now own a Nikon D3000 and a 1V1(I obviously keep my cameras for a while) and am ready for an upgrade.I am thinking either a D500 or a D750.I already have a sigma 300ml zoom for an FX camera and will buy a kit with lenses for either. Since the cost is not that much different which would serve me better.thanks
Try keeping the camera inside your jacket. With luck it will stay warm in there and just pull it out for quick shots.
Yes they do look cold. But I grew up on a large farm and they are far better suited to this than we are.
I understand that.My favorite camera was the Pentax K1000.I owned two of them.(wore one out). The digital cameras make me feel like the Lone Ranger.I just keep shooting and never run out of bullets.
I have been reading posts about mirrorless cameras on UHH and have a question.I have a Nikon V1 that I have owned for 6 years or so and am wondering how it compares with other brands?
I stick with the cell phone.pictures aren’t great but it’s handy for an occasional call and priceless for locatiting my wife at WalMart.
