I know this was discussed a month or so ago but I can't find a remedy to clean the sticky surface of my focus rail. Anyone hae suggestions?

A friend of mine wants to do long exposure with his Canon SX540HS. He tells me there is no buld setting on this camera. Is there a work around for this. I have no knowledge of Canon cameras.

Nikon D7500 or D500
I have the d7500. It's all the camera I need. It's all about choices. Choose the one that makes the most sense to you, handle it, check out all of the buttons, then make your choice.
