Need opinions on Windows 11. Is it a stable platform or are there a lot of bug fixes that need to be made.
Thanks for your comments.

It's Windows. Need I say more?
J/K
I am actually using a "preview" version of Windows 11 to give the online training I do, and the OS itself hasn't given me any issues, but I dislike the need to use the online version of apps and storage, which make it more difficult to edit PowerPoint. Everything else I do on a Mac.
I hope to never have to use another Microsoft OS.
Win 11 has been on my system since 6/29/2021
With no issues that I'm aware of --
Thanks all for the replys.

Got it...love it. Yes, download the version.... You'll use it in the future anyway.
I have it on three computers in my house. No issues at all but I don't like how they have changed some of the menus for no reason at all - just to be different.
Windows 10 support ends fall 2025.

I've had it running now for a couple of months it's stable, quick and there's no bugs that I have come across.
But,
When I first upgraded from Win 10 to 11 I had serious problems with colour management in PS that I could not solve for a few weeks with the help of others as well. I ended up doing a 'clean install', e.g. wiping the hard drive and starting from scratch, which solved it.
I never found out what caused the glitch, I can only assume compatibility with something within my system and I would not say it was a Windows problem.

Why upgrade? You aren't gaining anything great. Wait a year.

If you have a computer with a 12th generation Intel processor, you should upgrade to Windows 11. Only the Thread Director in Windows 11 understands the difference between Performance Cores and Efficiency Cores. My i5-12600k CPU has 6 Performance Cores with hyperthreading and 4 Efficiency Cores without hyperthreading for a total of 16 threads. It's a beast! And there are i7 and i9 processors.
I typically wait till the time security updates on the older OS will no longer be available. That being said, it gives MS plenty of time to iron out the always found bugs in a new OS.

I have had no problems with Windows 11 except that it is not supported yet for Oculus Quest 2. Thus, if you use VR, I would stick with Windows 10 until Oculus (Facebook) and/or MS work out the issues.
Wish I hadn't loaded Windows11--my old Epson Scanner isn't compatible with it.

I’m using on my new laptop. Have not upgraded my main desktop yet and will wait.
One thing I HATE is that you can no longer move your menu bar to any edge of the screen. It’s at the bottom and that is where it stays.

If you wait too long the upgrade may no longer be free.
Is it true that you must be signed in to your micrsoft account to open windows 11?
