I didn't mean to imply that those cameras "come with" the adapter ... you do need to buy it. Canon doesn't just "give things away" Sorry if my original post was misleading.

You didn't say what camera you had prior ... the R and RP, and I'm sure the new ones, will have an adapter that will enable the use of Canon EF lens, so you might not need to spend for a lens if you have one from prior Canon camera. I have an RP with adapter, so all my previous lens will work, from my nifty 50 up to my Tamron 150-600 mm. I also have a monopod, tripod and a Gimbal-Head.

Thanks. For the 360 pano work I'll be doing, the fisheye distortion will be minimal.

I will be doing some 360 pano work, and I am curious about any recommendations from people on tripod with a small footprint. I have a 360 fov 12mm fisheye lens, and planning on editing the bottom, but if there was a stable small footprint tripod (to hold a Canon 6D with the fisheye lens on a Nodal Ninja R20), I'd appreciate any suggestions and / or watchouts. Key word is stable. As much detail as you want to give, I'm a sponge. Thanks in advance.

I have a Canon 6D and will be using (most likely) a Canon 15mm fisheye lense, and I am looking for a reasonably priced Pano head to mount on the tripod for doing Google street view type 360 Photography. Need something that will capture (4) 90-degree turn images smoothly. Anyone have any suggestions? Less than $300 if possible. Thanks in advance.

I keep imagining a doctor calling for her in the hospital hallway .... "Nurse Crapp!" So will it be better .... "Nurse Beer"?

Then I would recommend a Windows I7 (perhaps the I7-6700 or I7-6800 series) based machine with 16GB (minimum) DRAM, 500GB-1TB SSD + a 7200 RPM ~4TB HD, a separate (not integrated) Video card/GPU with 2GB (min) memory, and a BluRay/Mdisk drive. If a desktop, I'd spec a 750w power supply (minimum) and good cooling fans. I'd also consider using m2 or nvme-attached SSD instead of SATA-attached if you can afford it. Also be sure to spec a 64 bit version of Windows 10. Add a good monitor, and if possible, a 2nd equivalent 4TB HD for mirroring (redundancy). This is a spec for a full-house machine that will support anything you want to do. You can order this custom-built for well less than 2K$ including monitor, or if your needs and budget are more modest, you can buy a nice I7 based machine for less than 1K$, with smaller/slower drives, and a slower I7 CPU, but don't skimp on the DRAM, SSD (even if you get only 250GB), or the 64-bit OS.

I agree with above. I just bought a Samsung Laptop 16 gb ram I Core 7, 1 tb hd, 2 gb NVDIA graphics card, etc. Just under a grand. Don't skip on ram, hard drive, or graphics card. Do NOT get graphics card embedded on the cpu. My Dell 8gb inspiring was slow compared to this. I'm hoping, of course, it doesn't burst into flames!! 😄

Good program, but like several have said, don't overdo it. Really good on highlighting eyes. The only way you'll know is to try it.

OK .... now here come's the part where I have to fess up that the weird part was in my own headself! I had a "screen protector" on the viewfinder screen to keep it from getting scratched. Well it hasn't been scratched, but the screen protector somehow slightly moved. (It has a silver colored border around it ...) So when I looked at the border and the menu screen display, it looked like the menu items were slightly slanted. DUH ... no. A lesson in perspective, and in "look more closely before telling the world you are a "borderline idiot" (see what I did there????)

How did I find this out? Well, Dirtpusher sent me a link to describe the use of the level built in to the Canon, and when the level green line looked slanted to me, I thought maybe Dirtpusher had figured out a way to mess with my mind! Upon closer examination, I realized I was playing with my own mind, and losing the battle quite handily!

Thanks for the help, and expressions of condolence for my pathetic condition are greatly appreciated.

Yesterday when I turned my Canon 6D on, and checked the Menu items to change some settings, I noticed that the display on the viewfinder was not exactly level. There is a slight left to right downward slant to everything. The camera seems to work fine, and the pictures are ok, but the viewfinder image is eversoslightly tilted. Has anyone ever encountered this? Is it a serious issue or a minor irritant? If you encountered this, did you get it fixed, and how? Back to Canon, or ???

I will check to see if the video card isn't sufficient for the monitor and the photo work ... never considered that, but it sounds like maybe .... thanks

Docking station is a small tower located 6-8 inches away from laptop. I will try the air.
