Never had good results with teleconverters because they reduce sharpness no matter how good they are. Either get a larger lens or get closer to your subject.
this may have been my problem also. I learned you have to hit the ok button on the left side of the screen, not the center button on the up/down/rt/lt controller on the right side of the screen.
The cards had to be removed in order to reset the camera. Then one card was placed in the camera and it reformatted. Second card put in and it reformatted. Camera problem solved.
I recently removed the xqd card from the camera and copied files from it. Removed the card from the reader and inserted it into the camera. I tried to format the xqd card or the secondary micro SD card but the camera will format neither card. It wii store pics on the xqd card. Ant suggestion to fix this greatly appreciated. Do I have a setting in the menu that may be preventing the format to run? .
There was an easy fix to this problem. Remove all cards(xqd and SD) and then reset the camera. You can then put the cards back in one at a time and format the cards. All is now working fine. Thanks for the suggestions but I found this out at a Dodds camera store.
I can write to the sd card, but it won't reformat in camera I am going to pull the SD card out and try formatting it in the computer next I will report what happened.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking about several lens to take, 18-200mm f3.5 and the 105mmf1.4. may change out the 105mm to an 85mmf1.4. I have time to decide.
