My Mother was 100 when this photo was taken-her hand is in the middle & my sister & my hands are on either side.
Beautiful-do you know the name of this iris ?
I really like the photos especially the last one with the textures.
I've worked with Lightroom & Photoshop but they offer so much more than I want. I don't want editing that changes the whole photograph. I need to edit very little. I do shoot in raw & JPEG but find raw is taking up too much room & yes I know it has more information. I work with Faststone & really like it but just wondered what else was out there. So...thank you to those who gave me the information I was asking & not making a rude comment. I really thought this was a site to learn on ?!
what's the best editing program & why? thanks
thank you-I just realized this is Mothers day-an appropriate tribute to Moms every where !! It's hard for me to pick a favorite.
I live in Omaha,Ne. & we have a wonderful zoo. I was fortunate enough to get a picture of Victoria,a snow leopard baby. this is Keoke a white hanned Gibbon with Mom. This is Sagosa a gorilla baby. This is Malcom a baby giraffe
your Saul Bellow quote says it all...
Thank you Bob - I can't imagine a world without flowers !
thanks for the insight-so what do the boys do with their ribbons ? hopefully I can go to a fair this year & focus on the boys
I really hope we don't lose that part of our heritage. It was always so much fun to look foreward to. I watched some of the goat competitions at our county fair this year & got a laugh when the girls (not sure what the boys did) stuffed their ribbons in their back pocket-of course with their cell phone in the other pocket !
I really hope we can get back to carnivals & fairs. They are so "home" to me. It would be such a shame to lose this part of our heritage.I guess at some point in time everything becomes "the olden days"
