Well, I am a loser and this loser is unsubscribed from this republican trump loving society. Good luck and have a good life but remember I told you "Houston we have a problem" To be honest this should have never been posted as I did notice the politic side. You can run but you can't hide. I will see you in hades!!!!!!!

That's what this is all about and I got your loser, pal! We are all losers when the law is used willy nilly! I just stated my opinion on this. Everything is political today but ones rights shouldn't be.

The police can't ignore a felony? Until Trump and his minions obey the same laws related to privacy and/or comply with duly authorized subpoenas I would not comply with a password. Especially if I am innocent! If it is not good for the goose it isn't good for the gander. No one should be above the law, no one!

Come on, it has always been about the glass and always will be. The latest and greatest camera with a crappy lens will always be the latest and greatest with a crap lens. Comparing a Kodak Brownie to today's latest and greatest is ludacris at best.

I have been using the "RP" for almost two weeks now. The only problem I have had which isn't a problem has been getting used to the EVF. The blackout between shots still freaks me out but I am getting a hand on it. I have used every lens I have on it which includes a Sigma 50mm f1.4 without a problem other than I had to turn off all camera corrections when using the Sigma. I have been very pleased with my results so far but I am still testing it out in various ways. I have shot almost 300 pictures on the first charging of the battery. Battery life has been somewhat of a surprise to me. I expected worse. I only have two ef-s lenses which I use on my 80D. The RP automatically crops both lenses which results in images between 10 and 11 megapixels. Still, the fact that you can use these lenses without a vignette problem on a full frame camera is a plus. I just purchased the RF 35mm F1.8 lens in keeping with the smallish size factor as well as price. I will let folks know how it goes as I expect delivery of said lens this tuesday. The bottom line for me is I call the "RP" my baby "R". If you like the Canon "R" you will like the Canon "RP". No ifs, ands, or buts.......

That's good advice for some, however for me, being 72 and have developed tremors in my hands I couldn't pursue my hobby, amateur photography without IS lenses.

I also suffer from tremors in my hands. My biggest improvement in keepers this past year was the purchase of a monopod which I have used whether sitting down or walking about. A side benefit is the monopod also serves as a walking stick while I am out and about.

Currently I use Windows 10's built in photo app for my jpeg's and Canon's DPP 4 for the raws. They both have libraries and work good for my purposes. I bought Luminar 3 and liked it but the update with the digital asset management messed me up really bad. Considering I only lost $70.00 on it I don't feel bad. For me, it is all about the simplicity of all I do. Windows built in photo app does a good job of sprucing up jpegs and the Canon software that comes with my 80D does a good job of processing the occasional photo I process from raw. The best part about it is I already paid for it. If you are just an enthusiast as well as older like me the best part of this hobby is taking the picture. Pretend you are back in the film days and compose your shot, get the exposure right, press the shutter. BINGO!!!!!!! However, if you are young and/or a pro or a want to be pro only then go big on the processing process. Good luck and God bless!!!!!!!

I have used Luminar 2018 as well as Luminar 3. I recommend it if your computer is a MAC. I don't recommend it for Windows 10. A load of problems on Windows as well as a lack of parity with the MAC version. Good luck with whatever you decide to use!

Luminar 2018 and the new Luminar 3 along with all their previous iterations originally was MAC only with Windows being added to increase sales and or a base. I waited through most of 2018 to get the D.A.M. promised. It is not ready for prime time on Windows 10. I don't think it will ever be ready for Windows 10 because the emphasis is on Mac only or so it seems. The bottom line for me is if you have a Mac it is a fine program to use. It is not so fine for Windows and actually feels like adding Windows support was an afterthought. I am only out $70.00 or so but I still have the license. I am not going to hold my breath or wait any longer for fixes to problems this program has. Light Room or Photo Shop here I come. I abhor the thought of paying monthly fees but post processing without digital asset management that works is of prime importance to me.

I buy a lot of things from Amazon. As a result I get asked to review said products. I always give a clear concise review whether pro or con. I do trust the reviews but if buying a high price tag item if I can I will go to a brick and mortar to actual try out said product or at least see or feel it. I let them know upfront I did the research online and if they will match or come close to the online price, "SOLD".
