I believe you can purchase a digital back for that camera....I have a 500cm too and looked into it and decided not to buy it....2 0f my 3 lenses have fungus!!
I have owned my Nikkor 70-22mm F4.0 for 1 year now and I love this lens. I very rarely shoot in low light so an F2.8 was not important to me. Also the F2.8 is heavier which I did not want. The reviews I looked at all said the same thing plus the image quality is exactly the same. So I opted for the F4.0 and the cheaper price!! I hope this helps....Dave
Yes Idi....I purchased a new D500....meaning I will continue buying from B&H
I am returning it today!!
This unit was rattling around inside the box....No packing at all...very sloppy packing! I called Nikon and I was told when a camera is refurbished the firmware is to be updated. I am returning this unit today!! I feel they sold me a used D500 and not refurbished!!!
Just received a refurbished Nikon D500 from B&H. The shutter count is 16,610 and the firmware is not updated. Does this sound like a refurb unit?
Thanks for your response...Dave
I did....had it repaired....AFTER Cameta sent me a "refurb" unit...that I would think should have been done done BEFORE I received it!!
I agree....I always buy refurbished....however...I bought a refurb D750 from Cameta Camera about 1 1/2 years ago when the shutter problem existed. When I received mine....the shutter was never upgraded. Not good.... So....I will never buy from Cameta Camera again. I buy from B&H now and I am very satisfied.
I understand what you are saying....I have used this for about one year....it is ok . I use it with a Nikon D750. When in use it disables auto ISO and slows down burst continuous mode. So for me that is a game changer. I just ordered a Nikon SU-800. It is suppose to work flawlessly!! We shall see......
The smaller the light source...will yield more specular high lights. I don't know your set up but I can see the light is too flat. Put a small stobe under your light table and vary the heighth distance of the strobe. Can be very dramatic! Also use small white reflectors, very close, on both sides.
I have an Epson XP-960 and I am extremely happy with this printer. It will print up to 11 X 14's. The photo quality is excellent!
