I have a Samsung s20 ultra which has the awesome camera and I compared the pictures taken with DSLR with prime lenses. Used the same subject, lighting and background.
To my naked eye, there's not much difference. Have any of you noticed that phenomenon? In that case, may be I should just carry my cell phone for vacations etc..

I have an Iphone 11 pro Max which I use everyday to take photos, but this one I would not be able to take it with my phone. I used my DSLR with a 150-600 mm lens, in low light. I am satisfied using my phone camera everyday, and I am well pleased with my DSLR. Every one has its moment and purpose.

D750 is a great camera in low light, it allow you to set high ISO. If you use a lense with wide aperture like f2.8 you are all set.

Thank you for your information and time. Very interesting for photographers to understand more details of light and exposure. I would like to go a little deeper on to how the film or the sensor capture, through the reflected light, all the details of the photographed subject.

My first camera was the Canon AE 1, that was excellent, then I had a Rebel I didn't like much. Fuji and others. Now I use my Nikon D750, I am in love with this camera, especially its performance in low light and ISO.

I ask the UHH members because there are many people with more experience than me in this group, and with a full-frame mind capable of understanding my question.
You didn’t understand. I am not asking any body to decide by me, I am just getting information to make an informed decision.
There have been a lot of discussion on the topic of using FX cameras with dx long range lenses.
If I shouldn’t have asked this question, you shouldn’t answer. Thanks

I and buying the Nikon D750, I have the D5300, with nikon lenses 18-55 kit lense, Nikon 35 mm 1.8 dx, and Nikon 55 - 300 mm dx. My question is if I should keep the 35mm and the 55-300 to used with my new camera, or should I sell the D5300 and all the lenses. I am very interested in improving IQ. Should I use only FX lenses. Please any light on this is welcome.

Why distort what the camera sees? .Why not look at what nature display.

Set your camera to A and shoot, and shoot. Nature will pose and the camera will see for you. What is your role as a photographer, as an artist.

I am planning to upgrade from Nikon D5300 to a Nikon FF, I am considering the d750 and the d810. In the picture samples I have reviewed online I see more sharpening and picture quality on the d750 samples. I know there are many factors that can affect the sharpening and quality of the picture. I would like to hear your advice about these two cameras. I have read several reviews and the d810 is said to be superior. I shoot landscape, portraits, and general photography. I prefer the opinion of the users in this Forum. Thank you.
