I’m a newbie and am asking for guidance regarding photo editing software. I haven’t been able to understand PS & LR and am looking for “photo editing software for dummies.” Any recommendations about how to get my feet wet and learn slow and easy?

Try ‘Exposure’ software- easy download, powerful

the rx100 vii has a 200mm zoom - I think it’s the best pocket camera around.

24-105 is not enough to capture birds unless you have a guide with a scope
- In that case an iPhone is enough to photograph through the scope- to get birds in trees or in flight I use a 100-400 full frame or a 100-300 crop. Just came back from Costa Rica with amazing results. You will be frustrated with a 105 if you really see a rare bird- just my opinion.

I’ve had the camera for over a year- traded down from a d810 for a lighter camera to travel with- have used it already on 3 trips - Galapagos , Paris and Amalfi coast- for both wildlife and scenery and considering the cost and weight, it’s the perfect camera to travel with. Pictures are amazing and with the double SD card you have back-up.

I would definitely stop fooling around and take the card to a professional photo or computer person . Other precautions for the future- use a camera with 2 card slots, download photos to an external HD or laptop daily while on vacation. There are companies that all they do is recover data- may be worth the $.

The 7200 is not the best camera for bird photography because of the kind of small buffer. That being said, I just came back from the Galapagos and got fantastic bird photos. These settings are a must- back button focus, front button set to spot meter and high speed continuous shutter. Press both buttons and Shoot away- 1 in 50 shots will be amazing!

Has anybody had a problem where when clicking on a topic to view, a screen pops up telling me that I just won a prize of some kind making it impossible to view the UH topic?
