If you use a polarizer normally, be sure to remove it before you go caving. Lesson learned!

I shot during my film days a Sears branded 1000 MXB which I was told was the Pentax 1000. Always great pictures and function. I still have it. I've been shooting with the Pentax K-50 for several years with never an issue and great pictures. I recently had a GAS attack and bought the Pentax K-70. Plus the batteries are the same and the IR remote. For a weather sealed camera and the features it's price was far better than anything from the "major" guys. And, the pictures are still great! I also shoot the Panasonic GX85 and the Panasonic Z300 if I want to lighten my load.

I bought it about 2 weeks ago. Based on: reviews were generally very good, menu system almost identical to my FZ300, viewfinder, tiltable LCD. It came with the 12-32mm lens and I bought the 40-150mm to go with it. I've used it a couple of indoor events this past week and am quite happy with it. Need to work a little on exposure but that's just me not using the correct exposure settings. This week I'll be using a bit outdoors in downtown Salt Lake City. The viewfinder problems I've read about haven't been evident in my use but outdoors may be different but I'll see tomorrow. Although many of the mirrorless cameras I looked at were just as good or better, this fit my aims. I'm 71, using a Pentax K50, Panasonic FZ300 and a Nikon S9900 point and shoot I just became frustrated on remembering buttons and menus. We do a fair amount of traveling and this along with my FZ300 should cover my needs. Eventually, I'll replace the Nikon with a Z70 or similar from Panasonic. As a plug, I bought it from B&H which has always served me well.

Something changed. I downloaded Picasa for Windows several months ago for my wife's new computer. It's no longer on Filehippo, just the Mac version. However, it is still available at downloads.cnet.com and softtonic.com.
