Not alone ...

K3, K500, Q, K110D, K2, KX, MX, ME Super, Super-A, K1000, 645, Spotmatic F, Spotmatic SP, H2a and countless lenses. All much to my wife's chagrin! :D

Ditto the sentiments on Wasabi batteries. I've used them on my a6000 for 2-years with no issues. I get the sense that the Sony battery lasts a tad longer, but not significantly so. I also suspect that the much slower Sony charger is able to pack more of a charge than the fast Wasabi charger, but I've never really has created a concern for me -- especially after disabling WiFi until needed (putting the a6000 in Airplane mode) and turning off NFC.

I also own a a6000 and absolutely love it. The size and weight make it an easy choice for hiking or walking about. I use it primarily for shooting vintage glass as I have quite a significant collection of K, M42 lenses (I own SEVERAL Pentax bodies) and Exakta. I bought it primarily as a manual lens platform for use with adapters, but it has become my primary go-to camera. Needless to say, most of my shooting is manual focus and manual or AV mode. The only Sony E mount lens I own is the E 50mm with OSS, and it performs quite nicely. Because of this I cannot personally attest to their AF capabilities across a wide range of their lenses, although most seem quite widely regarded. The a6500 (or a7rII) is on my list as I would like IBIS, but the Pentaxian in me really wants the full-frame K-1, too!!

Tip: In order to maximize battery, I set the camera to 'Airplane' mode, disabling Wifi and NFC until I need them. While the battery is nowhere near as long lasting as my Pentax K3, it is more than adequate. I agree with having a 2nd battery charged and ready -- just in case.

Ditto the above accolades for the a6000. I own one along with 2x DSLR's and the Sony has become my go-to camera.

I had Crashplan and decided to try iDrive. They have a Crashplan user incentive right now -- 5TB for $6.95 for the 1st year and $69 per year after that. Unlimited drives and computers --you just pay or the cloud space. Not the fastest at initial seeding, but thought I'd give it a try.

The Yashica Electro 35 GSN is certainly a very fun and capable rangefinder camera. The GSN was Peter Parker's camera in the Spider-Man movie. Here's my GSN ...

Seems to be a regional thing, I guess. A vibrant jazz community is not something one thinks of when they think of Texas. While I am sure there are very good performers in our area, finding them and gaining exposure to new jazz artists and their music is a very difficult task. It seems that in today's world of over-hyped and over-played 'artists' with scant lyrics and computer loop tracks, the true up-and-coming jazz musician/instrumentalist is the rarity and need a great deal of support to be heard.

As it relates to funding, I can attest to the cuts in music and arts programs as I work in a school system and have several relatives working as teachers -- at least in Texas high schools and middle schools. I won't get into the 'virtues' of the Texas education system. :( Anyhow -- I'm glad to hear that the NE and other parts of the country appear to not suffer from the same malaise.

Thanks for the links and resources. I do miss exposure to new and upcoming, as well as classical jazz artist and these may just be the ticket!!

We've not just lost quality broadcasting -- quality music is making a fast dash out the exit door, as well. Dwindling radio support along with the slashing of funds for school music programs makes the future of American Jazz look rather bleak. :(

Thanks for posting these wonderful links!!!
