It's been almost 9 months since I shoot this one. I normally don't like then for more than a month. Maybe I need to pick up the macro lens again for a new favorite.

Awesome!

Here's my favorite of my own shots. This was at the end of a long hike and I saw this hoverfly just hanging out.

Fantastic!

If you have access to a Windows OS computer, you might want to try this free portable app

https://sourceforge.net/projects/canon-eos-digital-info/files/Portable/
For Canon EOS 7D you have to download the version that uses EDSDK v2.14

The author's video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/-GGFdbagn-M

I own a Canon EOS 750D and just tried the version that uses EDSDK v3.5.
Unfortunately, Canon has removed the functionality (Shutter count retrieval) for latest Canon EOS cams!!
Guess they want me to visit their service centre.. One more reason for me to hate Canon!!!.

I am able to sync my Computer system time with the Camera's clock ( which was amiss by a few seconds).
This utility is useful for this purpose.

Nikon d750 has ISO Lo0.3, Lo0.7 and Lo1.0 below ISO 100..... When would they be used?

In lieu of a ND filter.. To allow slowing down of shutter speed.

These images have been shot with Canon EOS 750D with 18-55 STM lens reversed. Built-in-flash (diffused and +2 stops compensation).
Image stabilization is OFF, Autofocus is ON.. but I use back-button focus to acquire initial focus.

I am on T6i and use LCD only to confirm whether focus is alright.
I shoot RAW in manual + auto ISO combo, so exposure is seldom a problem.

For JPEG shooting, "on camera" histogram would be the right tool.

Quote:
to see the pictures on your camera, you must:

preserve the exact file name
use the same folder name as when the camera stored the picture originally
make sure the EXIF data is preserved.

For most brands, you must also upload an unedited version of the file. Using the software provided with the camera to upload your files generally takes care of these requirements.
