Can anyone give me the steps to get the shutter count on a Canon7D. I have misplaced my cheat sheet with the steps, and can't find anything on their website.
Any help will be appreciated.

Why do you repeatedly post this misinformation?
These are CANON cameras, those shutter count websites will NOT work on them.
Same as the SL1 user you gave this bad info to earlier today.

Google it by the looks of you want an actual count it's done by USB cable from your camera to a PC and software download that can read shutter counts

I was recently selling a 7D which I had bought in August as I got a full frame body. I tried all the sites, even paid $5 or so and still could not get a shutter count. So I just went to Kenmore Camera and they got it for me in 5 minutes, for free. Turns out that when I bought the 7D, it only had about 1,000 shutter count (it looked like new) because I know how many I put on since I bought it. Now I wish I had it back as a backup, great camera. So, yeah, I wish Canon made it easier to get a shutter count. Having shot a lot with many Canon, and Nikon, bodies, I have never had a shutter problem, however.

I got the shutter count from the local Canon service center. They repaired my 24-105 /f4 L lens and the count was a free byproduct.

I use a paid program(about $3) called "shuttercount", by Dire studios-has worked great on my 7D2, 7D, T3i, and 70D

I looked there but it seems the program is for Mac. I use a PC; do you know if they have a program for me?

Go to http://www.eoscount.com/. Add account in your name, password, etc. Login. Download the activex download control and hook up your camera to the USB port in your computer. If you're using Windows 10, make sure to change over to Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge won't work. Follow their instructions and you will get your own version of this. Good luck.

If you have access to a Windows OS computer, you might want to try this free portable app

https://sourceforge.net/projects/canon-eos-digital-info/files/Portable/
For Canon EOS 7D you have to download the version that uses EDSDK v2.14

The author's video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/-GGFdbagn-M

I own a Canon EOS 750D and just tried the version that uses EDSDK v3.5.
Unfortunately, Canon has removed the functionality (Shutter count retrieval) for latest Canon EOS cams!!
Guess they want me to visit their service centre.. One more reason for me to hate Canon!!!.

I am able to sync my Computer system time with the Camera's clock ( which was amiss by a few seconds).
This utility is useful for this purpose.

Getting shutter count...Looking on YouTube I found this video that looks like fairly easy way to get shutter count on a number of Canon cameras. Canon shutter count with Magic Lantern is open source and free to use. I do not have a Canon but a friend does and may help others. Sorry about the first post hickup above.

Not clear if I understand what you want. Have you already used EOSCount? If so, plug in your camera via a USB port and run the program.
