Remember that Nikon USA will not repair any Nikon products not sold in the US or Canada.
Just like anything in life you always have to be careful. Make sure you read all of the information that is written by the seller, about the particular product before you do anything. It will also provide the seller's return policy. Look up his/her history and ratings. Ask the seller as many questions as you want. If it's a camera ask how many shutter clicks it has on it. Ask him why he is selling the item? Make sure you request a tracking number. I have purchased many items on ebay. I do prefer going into a local camera store though. Have you tried any of the "Used" camera stores online? B&H or KEH yet? Just sayin.
This is a very interesting image. I enjoy this bird. It's very beautiful.
The sepia tones has done wonders for ALL these images. Well done.
I agree with you. I use RAW all the time. Much more versatile. Just asking opinions about things I have read on some forums.
I agree. That said can JPEGs be used in Lightroom or Photoshop like RAW images can. I heard no.
This is NOT an assumption. I am on various photo forums and I noticed this within the past months. I have even read it here. I am under the impression that you missed it (them) :)
It seems to me there are people who are leaving RAW for Jpeg. I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts about this?
The Tamron lens should not be that bad. When you placed the camera on the tripod what was your shutter speed? Do you use your finger or a remote (wired or wireless) to press the shutter? It could make a difference. Is this your first time using the lens? Have you tried the lens on another camera body at the local camera store? Does the issue also occur at 18 mm? What about 100 mm? I would try it on a stationary subject. Just sayin.
I'm curious as to how you were able to get images of the eggs? Were they low to the ground? Since you mentioned "Ocean City" where is that located?
