I keep every photo except the really bad ones . . . and I've taken plenty of those. :(

I think azaleas should be in color . . . well, because they have such rich colors and tones. I like black & white photos too. Did you try increasing the fill light slightly to see what affect it would have?

Very nice shot. I like the zebra tail showing in the photo. Adds visual interest and a bit of humor to the image. Looking at the two birds I imagine a conversation between them: "Do you see anything on the zebra you like, or would you rather fly over the giraffe and see what she has on the menu today?"

Country Mama, you have beautiful views taking your dog to the vet. Having grown up in a rural farming community in North Carolina, I enjoy seeing farm houses and barns. I think you captured them all beautifully. :)

Norman, I like all three of the textured photos. I think treatments such as adding texture can add visual interest for the viewer. I bet all three original photos look great. Old barns and neglected buildings are good subjects for a photographer.

I've been to NC a number of times thanks to our daughter and son-in-law. Nothing looks more inviting then a beautiful beach picture then when you are freezing the the north :-)

Thank you for telling me the name of these beautiful flowers....and yes, they do in fact grow in the sand. The ones you see in the photo were growing near marshland, but I see smaller clusters growing at the bottom of sand dunes.

I grow them up here in NY State in my garden so I was surprised to see them in sand. Walter when you reply please hit the quote reply button so we know who you are directing the reply to. Thanks! :P

I do apologize for my ignorance. I quickly learned that I need to click on the Quote Reply button instead of Reply to respond to someone who has commented on one of my comments or photos. Now I need to figure out how to delete a response I posted when I clicked Reply. Duh?

Beautiful! Those flowers are called Gaillardia. I'm surprised they grow in sand :-P
