JR I will also check Ebay for the memory card door to see if available to maintain the original look. The duct tape may detract from my "amateur photographer" status!

Thanks to everyone for response. Also thanks for the ordering info. However, as opposed to the battery compartment door it's the memory card door that's the problem. My resolution, although esthetically not good, may very well be as suggested duct tape!!

My backup camera (E-410), card door will not remain closed and pops open during operation. Any suggestions for repairing this problem? Other than of course returning to Olympus :-(

Most of the information found on the internet regarding shutter actuations was associated with other camera brands (most noticeable being Nikon and Canon). Thanks to all responding! Especially those with direct experience with Olympus equipment.
