All i do is put the loop on the screen bring the whole assembly up to my eye ,press lightly on my eye and fire away,i have no problem with this ,i will admit it takes a bit o getting used to it ,but i shoot this was nearly 100 percent of the time
There are no magnets on the hoodman loop ,only a rubber boot,which does no damage at all
I have a lumix gf3,was about to get rid of it ,due to the fact of not having a viewfinder then remembered that i had a hoodman loop lying around,so i thought why not see if i could shoot with the loop pressed against the screen a lo and behold it was like shooting in live mode ,now my wife even uses ie on her nikon s8100,love the loop now
