He is just saying hi. I rescued him and he has been the best dog ever. He is so loving and playful while at the same time if you mess with my wife or kids he will eat you alive. (I have seen it happen) This is pretty much how he greets folks tho. He is a 175lb Sibermute. Half Siberian Husky half Malamute. This picture does not do his eyes trus justice, they are both baby blue.

great poses on the first two John 438. i thought they were well loved and trained animals. I would love to know any of your tricks for posing them if you would like to share.

Good on you and Erv for putting into the community and helping our furry friends.

My son's dog was recently quite reluctant to pose for me. he thought he would roll over or ignore me. finally i had one of him posing disdainfully. My son's fiancee loved the tickle my tummy one.

KDM Imagery, what is that dog saying, his eyes are speaking loudly?

I see. thank you for the input. I am still trying to get the hang of hdr and the use of cs5.

what is too much?

The processing. There is no way to give it a number, it is just TOO much. In many cases, when we can tell what has been done, that means it is too much. This has crossed from extending the dynamic range into cartoon.

This is where the use of layer masks can become so useful. An effect can be applied to a layer and then by hiding the layer one can paint specific areas with the effect. By manipulating the opacity of the brush, the effect can be applied in appropriate amounts.

In many cases, applying an effect like this to an entire image at full strength is the wrong approach.

Oh the life of a tramp miners family.

Hi kris
They look a little over done. I like a more natural look. You have great colors. I don't even know how to do HDR, I am just going by what I see. And I am very old school too! :) To many years in film I guess.:)
Erv

Ok thank you for the comment. I value all of them. I have already sold 3 prints of the picture. I guess it is just personal preferance and there is nothing wrong with yours. Thanks again!

Is this HDR? It looks a little over done to me.
