You Brits tried that over here in 1776. Did not work then either.

I see that Mr. Zimmerman, poster boy for gun ownership and murdering innocent black teenagers, is in trouble AGAIN. Maybe like OJ Simpson, he'll get his just desserts, if not here, in some afterlife accounting.

And how many photographs have caused pain and suffering, sometime death from suicide or a jealous spouse seeing a explict photo of their mate and shot them or stabbed, whatever.
Anything in the hands of the wrong person can be a deadly object.
How many time do we read of a jealous spouse running over their mate with a automobile ?
Do we ban cars for that ?
Because of idiots we have idiot laws that violate the rests rights.
Criminals do not follow the laws, that why they are called criminals not law abiding citizens , and just because they haven't been caught yet does not make them innocent either.

Weapons over here are strictly controlled. If I posted a photo of a gun I had on any social network I don't think it would be long before I had a visit from the police. This is because weapons and people are a dangerous mix, you should know this as thousands of your countrymen/women/children die or are maimed through gunshot wounds every year!!

Mr. Zimmerman never murdered any innocent black teenagers. Just one criminal.

And he just lost his right to possess firearms for this latest stunt, another case of you just can't fix stupid people .

Aren't there enough gun control type threads started in the Chit Chat section? This is the photo section where the merits of images should be discussed, not the politics of every picture displayed here. Just a thought. 8-)

Of course you make a good point. Although people have been killing each other long before guns were around.

I'd be fearful living in a society where a knock on the door might mean a unexpected visit from the police for no other reason than expressing myself. Would make me want to arm myself.
