Thank you AJFRED for stopping by to take a look.

I generally do not necessarily have a camera but I go to the local beach several mornings a week specifically to take photographs of whatever I find interesting. Doing well in the interest department so far, far better than I thought. I am talking MY own interest but a lot of members here seem to like the photos too. I like the light of the water in the first photo too but the next photos, probably from being in shallow water or on the sand were tough to get anything useable. Fortunately for me a retired professional photographer, best friend of mine for years was here for 4th of July dinner. He was able to show me things on my MacPro editing system I had no idea how to use for years. He would suggest sliding this or that and the last three photos are the result. Not bad.

Well, as they say “Keep on truckin’! There is a lot to learn, but have fun doing it!

Nice series of shots! And confirming the old adage, “you can’t get a pic without your camera”. Good you were equipped. I like the light of the water in the first frame.

Very nice stuff, and the “adjustments” are quite interesting.

I agree, and your shot of his shot is 👍 awesome. Only good thing about waiting at a RR crossing 💥💥💥💥💥

Thanks, Joe!

This is really neat! The viewer gets to decide what it is that is being looked at! Very nice!

Not sure what this guy was attempting, but I hope he had a WIDE angle lens. iPhone shot out the window, waiting at the RR X-ing, in Belle Mina, Alabama. BTW, some of that graffiti art is pretty cool!

At one time we had a lot, if not hundreds, of daylilies in our back yard. I toss a Frisbee to Zoey, our Brittany, almost every day for her to retrieve and that has taken its toll on some, but the real culprits are the deer. It appears that the bloom is like candy to the deer and almost every one of them has been eaten. With only a few remaining I felt lucky to capture this one.

Don’t replace them with Hostas. Deer here ate them all.

Thanks, Joe. I have seen this thing and many of its cousins which flew, and after 50+ years, I am still in awe of the machine.

Great shot AJ, a sight to behold, the young will not have the same feelings and respect for this technology because to them its nothing special they grew up around it where as we saw its development, so it means a lot more to us

Thanks for that insightful comment, Simon. I do agree.

I grabbed a shot of Sam the other day - the sun was behind him and I accidentally overexposed with an f/2.8 setting but was able to salvage the image by converting it to a high key B/W.

Nice save!
