Deer Candy

At one time we had a lot, if not hundreds, of daylilies in our back yard. I toss a Frisbee to Zoey, our Brittany, almost every day for her to retrieve and that has taken its toll on some, but the real culprits are the deer. It appears that the bloom is like candy to the deer and almost every one of them has been eaten. With only a few remaining I felt lucky to capture this one.

Don’t replace them with Hostas. Deer here ate them all.

Shred bars of Irish Spring soap thru the garden.It keeps the deer at bay
