That's a great explanation, I don't suspect my lens is out of focus, it is very sharp and I'm glad I bought it, I got it mainly for interior shots and for historical buildings, thankyou for your input and for others in the forum for their personal advice
Really strugglin to find info on this, I have a tokina 11-20mm wide angle lens and want to check the overall sharpness by means of a spyderlenscal or similar tool, ie, what distance from the tool would you set up and at what focal length for Good average results, thanks in advance for your advice.
You done well to compose round these people, Edinburgh is always bustling with people, really busy during the fringe, and it is a photographers paradise, lots of hidden gems in and about the old town, i take it for granted as im only 12 miles from Edinburgh city centre, but i couldnt imagine living outwith Scotland, but plenty sights for photographers to spend a lifetime shooting
My first attempt at shooting a flying bird, in this case, Red Kites, lacking a bit in sharpness but these birds are so fast , its tricky trying to keep them in focus. Taken at the Red Kite feeding station at Lauriston near Castle Douglas, a must see for anyone visiting the area, there was between 100-150 raptors all competing for the scraps, and with a wingspan averaging 6ft they are a sight to behold.
Nice pics , very colorful birds, especially when the sun hits them
Nice photos, how the hell did you manage to freeze the blue tit, ther lightning fast😁
They will make great b&w shots
I think that clears it up, thankyou for the info
