Just as digital image replaced film mirrorless cameras will be all camera makers produce. That old SLR with a prism and mechanical mirror that must move out of the shutters way. For years SLRs were one of best. But now dethroned by technology mirrorless rules
After traveling around Italy with a 7D and a large lens I decided to buy a simple Canon mirrorless- unfortunately I prefer the D7 - better results and even with the weight I am more comfortable with it
I am in complete agreement- Adobe very overrated- buy the stock skip the product
After tramping through the Vatican and the Coloseum with a Canon 7D and a very heavy lens I looked seriously at the Mirrorless cameras and then jumped in. Discovered there are times for each.
Tried Luminar 4 and then switched from LR - a small hicup during startup that was very quickly and courteously resolved by Luminar. I'm not a professional photographer by any measure, just an architect with a camera (or 2) but after dealing with Adobe a few times, on several products, I did appreciate Luminar's quick response and resolution. There is a good chance that with any new software, problems will occur, it's what the developer does to remedy the problem at that point that counts.

So as long as we diverge into grammar -- is "news" singular or plural? -- "Are there any news today?"
I recently replaced the HD in my 2011 /21.5" iMac with a fusion drive and it's good, but I am also considering a switch to a mini after recent article that states that Apple planning to release an updated mini in the fall.
Coming from the film world I had a conceptual problem with ISO/ASA in that those setting were governed by the film you were using. There was fast film and slow film, loaded for different situations. There was push processing but only for special situations. In theory the ISO/ASA number should be designated by the SD or CF you are using. I,know all is different now but I still have this nagging history - I'm old but adjusting.
Had both eyes operated on a couple of years ago (old age thing) and discovered that we did not need a new TV. Enjoy your updated view of the world.
Would like to replace Adobe & LR but would like your appraisal of these two alternates. That you.
