Devil's Jump on the river - you can hike to it. I ran the rapids in a canoe in 1964—what a ride!
Great list - very helpful. I had Nurse Ratched for an english teacher in high school and she will punish me from the grave if I don't point out that these are almost all INITIALISMS. They're only ACRONYMS if they can be pronounced as a word: NAACP - initialism; SNAFU - acronym. I'm the only one who cares, I know.
Thanks for the list - would that manufacturers could standardize better.
It's in Aquila. Can't find a separate name for the semicircle.
Thanks - I'm just starting down this rabbit hole!
Great image - what stacking program was used. I'm looking for the best one for Mac
Google gave me a 45 character password to enter but I couldn't figure ou t where to put it iMovie. Youtube accepted my 120' video (HD, ~12GB) without Google when I sent it as .mp4 - took 88 minutes, then more processing time on their part ( I forgot to turn off image stabilization on a tripod, so that may have caused some shakiness that they detected).
Thanks - I managed to put them on youtube, but it took forever - I'll give Vimeo a try.
Competitive croquet (yes, it exists) games using American rules last 75 or 80 minutes. I made the videos in HD with a Canon 7D and did very simple assembly in iMovie. What's the best way to get them to the people who are in them? Some are worth posting, and I'll figure our how to do that on youtube. For the more private distribution, should I post on SmugMug etc, try to burn a dvd ....?
