Absolutely hilarious SCAM e-mail
Perhaps we could all club together and send this guy his $150 just for giving us a laugh!
Of course we think his command of english is bad. However, without mentioning which forums, we often see, despite the billions spent on our education systems, a wholly incomprehensible lack of understanding of the differences
between 'to' and 'too'; 'their', 'there', and 'they're'. So perhaps we should not laugh!

Resurrecting the Forgotten Bike Highways of 1930s Britain
As an ex-pat Brit born in 1938 I was probably in the wrong end of the country to have seen or known about these cycle tracks so was intrigued by this article. In my home county, Cornwall, there were roads narrower than these tracks!

I've become my own friend.
Will be 80 next year and four types of pills each day more or less keep me better than most.
Thanks for this Mark. I live by the following mantra and there is always a smile on my face when I am out and about (or reading UHH stuff!) I can't just wait and hope something happens to bring me joy, I chose it.

The power of words.
Yes it does have all the meaning you imply. Thank you for sharing this. It is something I do each and every day with strangers in stores, in the uni gym, in parking lots,- I give a wide smile and it only takes a 'good morning' and one has communicated with a fellow human being!

Sitting here on my own with my wife at work only the cat gave me a quizzical look when I burst out laughing!

12 year old - jazz trumpet/flugelhorn- really swings
This was totally new to me Mark and I do thank you! I wasn't going to do anything useful this morning so not feeling guilty just wading through the links and other things of this kid online and enjoying it immensely. Heck, the grass will still be there this afternoon!
