Those little guys are amazing aren't they! Great shots.
We aren't in the "Ring of Fire" area, so this is the best I could get! We had more coverage, but this one was exposed better and shows a Sunspot.

Looks like an old guy-throw him a fish.
It wasn’t liberals that attacked the Capital!
Sorry, I just found the reason for it! I forgot I have the back button focus turned on!🫢
I have tried a couple of lenses (that work fine on my D7200). Can anyone offer a test that will define what the issue is?
Bill
Mine was soon after getting my 150-600 mm zoom, and getting out to moose country in Wyoming, seeing our first moose ever in the wild. About 20 shots later, moving locations, suddenly my camera and lens fell out of my gimbal and hit lens first on the pavement. It shattered the skylight filter- I had removed the lens shade because it was near dark already. The filter glass took ours to remove, but once done everything was fine. I had neglected to tighten the clamping screw enough on the mounting plate. Now I never take that lens hood off, and always double check the tightness of the mounting plate.

The proof is out there-you can find it on your own.
Replying to OP question about new MacBooks, I just bought a new MacBook Pro 14" because my old MacBook was from 2010, and wasn't working so good anymore. I discovered my standalone version of Photoshop (CS 5) is 32 bit and doesn't work with a 64 bit machine, so I am looking for a new photo editing program. I don't do enough of it to justify paying almost $200 a year for CS. I am trying Affinity Photo, but it's just not the same and very difficult to navigate so far.
A guy with no name, no location, and no birthday want's to argue with me! OK, USER ID , you win, is that what you want F-off!
Sorry, but the question was What MM lens to capture an image the way our eye sees it.
The simple answer to this question is found by experimentation with YOUR camera and lens. Not all cameras and lenses and eyes are the same. Put a zoom lens on your camera that allows for focal lengths around 50-70mm. Put the camera to one eye in such a way that you can view the same scene with your other eye, and zoom the lens until you see the same thing (one focused image) with both eyes, and look to see what the focal length is on your camera. My Tamron zoom on my D7200 says 55-60mm. Your results may vary! My old Ricoh 35mm with the 55mm lens was just about perfect at eye equality.

Mine was a Ricoh TLS, Singlex with 55mm f 1.4 that I bought in 1967 or 68, and I still have it and it still works as it always did.
Hi, I recently bought a Movo metal gimbal for around $115, and it works great. It has a slight amount of play in the base, so I just turn in the rotation tightening knob a little. I think it’s great, much better than the one I built using 2 ball heads that I have been using for 10 years.
