I have the Sony 200-600which I use on my Nikon Z8 and Z9 and its Great....sharp and fast...Sound like you may have gotten a bad copy.

Anyone using the nikon Z9 / Z8 with the Sony 200-600 lens with the Megadap adapter?
I am and it works great....it's just as fast as my Nikon 70-200 2.8 and my Nikon 100-400.

I had the 70-200 f4 and used it on my
D850....When I sold the D850 and
70-200 f4 I got the Z9 and the
Z70-200 f2.8.... the Z70-200 is sharper..it is also heavier and more $$$....Really love it!
