As a new DSLR user, it has been of great help when you include your camera setting. I truly appreciate the effort.
A few years back, I tried to capture this live oak with my point and shoot - I know there is lots of room for improvement, but that's half the fun - right? When I take this shot again - after I read the manual of my new camera - what suggestions do you have for improvement (angle/cropping/lighting).
Someday, I look forward to getting a great shot, but today I want to express my appreciation for this forum.
You keep posting - I'll keep shooting....

heeheee - love those golden arches! - your pictures are wonderful. What happens if you try to lighten the first shot? It seems a little dark to these old tired eyes......

Ceneteries tell stories of the past and present - lives lived and sometimes - memories negelected - this is what I feel when I view your work - well done. Thank you.
Hi Vee - I have tried many times to capture huge oak trees and faced the same problem of conveying size. Can the photo be darken just a little to show the sunlight playing through the leaves? Thanks for sharing your work.
what a great subject to shoot. Did you also shoot color? I think the color would help define sky from building and building from right side of tree branch.
I love the affect of the early morning sunlight across your table and breakfast. Thanks for sharing your photo - it inspires!
Great shot - encourages me to wake up at O'dark thirty. Thanks for sharing.
As a newbie to photography and this site I can only encourage you to keep shooting. I also hope to incorporate more natural shots of my family. Thanks for sharing
