Just a change may be good for some my habit of making UH my first click of the morning is now changed.
Is not just contribution that is important it is really participation (viewing). Personally I view every day on approximately 20 subjects/items. Bet the adm may care about folks like me.
I went to the Badlands several years ago organized through this forum. At the time the management didn't like the idea this trip was being planned through here but that was before the open general discussion section was founded.
Small to mid-size groups work the best.
Usually someone has to take the lead and do some planning and organizing. Anything within 5-600 miles of Minneapolis would be fine with me.
May be fun to get so organized a few people could drive together.
We have a major, 12,000 car hot rod show here in the Twin Cities in mid-June if anyone is into that type of thing.
What style of photo was it and of what type of car?
I have a lot of "old car" photos and if I have something like what you need I'll give it to you to use along with written permission.
I'm sure many other car photographers on the forum would also do the same thing. Post what you are after and go from there.
Great set. Brought back some very good memories. I used to work in that part of the country and had a uncle in Monks Corner SC who I visited frequently.
Outstanding work capturing the true character of the area.
I learned a lot just reading the captions with the images. Thanks for posting, I appreciate it.
The same people mentioned about standing in front of the food table, in a doorway etc. are the people who when they are in a airport have to stop in the traffic lane of people and do whatever. It's a common thing to do in Minnesota so when I use to travel, 43 weeks a year, and would see someone do it in a airport I would say to them when I went by "you must be from Minnesota, they stop all the time like that".
Made me real popular but who cares.
Would like to meet Jerry sometime. My kind of guy!
Where in IN are you. I go through there once a month and may be interested but would want to pick it up myself. Nothing to do with you, everything to do with shipping these days. Thanks.
I have a similar thing happen more than I care, the way I avoid it is to use the Save as copy selection.
I especially like #2. It reminds me a lot of a place I once was at for a short time. The line-up of the houses really make the image in my opinion. Hope all of next year is a successful as this series.
One point on the picture that will help validate is the large pad at the top of the doors, both front and rear. I don't believe Dodge ever did that. I have a 1919 LF Dodge Touring door in my shop that I'm doing some metal work on and the top isn't like the picture.
The style of windshield post fitting into the body rather than being just bolted on and the non-visible door hinges make it a non-Ford product for sure. Not much help but you know it's not a Dodge.
