Christmas snow storm coming in

Yesterday we were told that a snow storm was coming in. While there was still light, I went to take a picture of the clouds. After taking a shot from one of my usual viewpoints, I decided to go to a viewpoint that gave me a different angle to take shots of the northern part of the Salt Lake Valley because that part of the valley still had sun.

This set shows what I saw from midway down the valley, then up to the north and coming back down the valley from the new viewpoint.

I have a brother-in-law in Sandy. He said they are expecting heavy snow-again. He just finished shoveling his driveway. Lucky Utah

Love those Wasatch Mountains. Still miss seeing them after 47 years living in Seattle. Will be back in June for a family event.
