the images speaks for it's self. Canon XSi, 14mm Pro Optic lens ( 21mm on a cropped camera ). It's the old saying,... not the equipment that makes a good photographic image.... you know the rest.

Jerry,
In answer to your question Mac vs. PC ?....I've been working on Mac's for 15+ years. I currently have a factory refurbished 13" Mac Book Pro for traveling and use it out doors to connect my camera to get instant camera images on screen (HDR on the spot) via a USB cable. At home I'm connected to a 28" ACER-HD screen, which are very inexpensive and a good value for the money. If you want to get into the real world of computing, have fun, user friendly, better build quality,
archaic less work flow, MAC's the only game in town.

Oh, now this is a topic can relate to. Topaz in my opinion is one of the best image enhancement programs out there. They're fun, easy and non destructive. There a great company to work with, a lot of free updates, easy to use, intuitive work flow with NO "where do I go from here?"nonsense. There FX plug-n
(in PS CS3) works like a charm, especially with layers. . Their noise reduction, sharpening, B&W effects, Dejpeg, Infoucus, Details, Lens Effect, Adjust 5 (top of the line), ReMask (kills the competition, very easy to mask complicated subjects)), Clean, Star Effects, Simplicity just to name a few are in my 15 years of working in digital imaging can not be beat on any level and all this with out clearing out your retirement funds. One more final point, they have a 30 day free trial.

Jerry, I apologize for not mentioning..thank you for your kind words, it's always appreciated...it's funny I can't get the right time of the day on this site, no big deal, it is what it is. It's nice when someone like yourself make a positive comment and appreciates the years of work it took to get to this state of image making...
thanks again,
Bruce
Jerry, you got that right. it's not the camera, it's the vision
or eye / brain connection. I do teach on line with quite a few people, from ages 11 to70. Since your so near, that why I offered if you want to go out in the ares and explore some landscape image making, Do you have any of your images posted.....I can't help it, the more I look at your photo, the more I feel I've seen you around before?

If you want to go on a shot in the area with me, let me know.
Jerry,
If your asking about the camera I use....it's not the camera
but 45 years of shooting with about every camera under the sun and an inner 6th sense when It comes to "seeing". I literally go into a different state of mind when I have a camera in my hands which is pretty much all the time Getting clean and sober and giving praise to Jesus in all I do has made a huge difference in everything, including most of the images
you've seen
Bruce
Joe,
thank you for your comment. I see you too live in my backyard? I'm in Jefferson Hts.
the trick is; when approaching an abandoned location I sit and look over the situation, waiting for the light as well, escape routes and I some cases where there's close neighbors, I'll ask. The last, is a sixth sense I've developed in the last 45 years. If you want to see more, jump on over here.
