I have D5000 with18-55 , 55-200 . Im also was thinking of this lens as there is no need to change the lens. But i found myself rarely do that so i keep my money for this time but if you always need to change your lens i think it is a good option.

Hi every one,
I need to scan old negative (120, 135) films and i think that film scanner is one of best ways to do that, but im wondering if any try to scan negative films by normal scanner and then try to make positive by photoshop from negative films scanning images.
Hi, i think you do not have a reasonable cause to buy another camera unless you want to empty your pocket.
I do not find any thing wrong with your images thus no need to waste money to buy new lenses.
I think you need to make other tests in different times and places to have fun with your camera.
Remember that best results can be did by very simple cameras.
I want to thank you about such valuable information but i need to know about my lenses that do not have aperture ring how can i make use of them with Sony Nex system with best regards.

Hi Im thinking of buying Sony Nex 5N with adapter for Pentax or Nikon lenses , but im wondering if aperture ,shutter priority and Focusing could be used properly.
When EXACTA introduced SLR in mid fourties as i remembered , the SLR cameras thad take a great part of Photography. Now i think that they may still take the same thing at least for the next 10 years
My father gave me the first camera when ii was 9 years old 1975 it was a simple manual Russian camera (Semena) i was using till 1997 i bought Praktica VLC-3 with 50mm/1.8 Zeiss Pancolar and 135mm/3.5 Zeiss Sonnar , then i bought Praktica MTL-3 ,Zenith E with Hellious 58mm/2 and i also had 20mm/2.8 Flectgon ,(200mm/4 ,29mm/2.8 Practica). I also bought Kieve 4 with 50mm/2 and35mm/2.8 Then i bought (Yashica 124G and IKOFLEX 120 twin lens reflex)and Yashica 135 electric and Yashica Diary. i like all of them till now.
Hello
I have used some compact and DSLR cameras but i did not use any lcd protection because im afraid that some dust and other fine particles will adjacent and i may face some problems when i will replace the protection layer. but i see some friends still using and replacing them without any problems. Now im thinking of using a cheaper one that was specified for big laptop and desktop screens by cutting the required area for the camera lcd.
i like moon shot but i think you have to use a heavy tripod with an increase of ISO and shutter speed.
To keep your pocket and to get very good images get the NIKON D5100 with Nikon 18-55mm VR and Nikon 55-300mm VR.
NIKON D5100 is better ,wide range lenses , more users and features.
I think one should care about the use of the hood with wide angle lenses as it may prevent light in corners to let in through the lens . Super wide angle lenses have the shortest length hood while telephotos have the longest . the medium one can be applied for both but with attention in use of wide angles thus the cutting corners hoods may solve most cases.
I feel that old film cameras have longer age in spite of having many mechanical (moving) parts and gears because even new sensors BSI CIMOS and CCD have limited age ( I think not more than 8 years).
Also film images could be considered much honest when compared with the ability of digital image editing by photoshop.
Another benefit is a film which could be considered as an old age document rather than the disc or SDHC or flashes.
