Very nice image, Truthfully I liked it better before I read how you created it. At first look, I thought wow what a great photographer. Truly, that was my first impression. THEN after reading how you created it, I thought what a brilliant photographer. This is a very creative example of interpretation of what can be captured.
Thanks for sharing,
Well done.

Just passing some time with a photo I captured 5 years ago.
Edited one and original one.
Enjoy, and any comments are welcome.
Thanks.

I tend to do that but with only cameras, no fishing poles. The last outing was 12 hours. Took 24 photographs. Most have been posted here over the last week.

Thank you Dave,
I agree.
In deed, my daughter in-law is having a canvas made of this image for a Christmas gift for my son, along with another image of the day for my grandson.
I am thrilled that it will not be lost or forgotten about on a Hard Drive.
I can't thank her enough for such a great idea.

Such days are good whether anyone catches a fish or not. Excellent shot of your son and grandson. I suspect that should find its way onto a wall.

Thank you Terry,
I agree.
A memory for life.
My daughter in-law is having a canvas made of the image for a Christmas gift for my son, and another image of the day for my grandson.
And that will be a lifelong memory in many ways, that will not be lost or forgotten about on a Hard Drive.
I can not thank her enough for such a great idea.

Nice photo and good feelings about family. I don't think there are any easy choices for improving our societies problems. I do agree that those of us that have resources to do the kind of things you have described with our families are very important. For those less fortunate, I don't know what the answer is.

Thank you for your response, I agree with all you stated, particularly when the going gets rough.
I continue to strive to always be in the moment and make the best of it and everyday.

Thanks

There is a lot of hype about quality time with family, and I recognize that it isn't a slam-dunk. You really have to try, and sometimes it doesn't work out the way you want it to. People get really smug about family when things are going well; the trick is plugging along when things aren't going so well, and when no one else understands. And there's nothing wrong with extending family feeling to strangers in need. Your photo is poignant, and my wish is that everyone who accompanied you on this outing will have fond memories of it.
