Hello everyone, this is my first time here, I have been enjoying all the pictures, comments, answers, etc. I have been learning as well.

Regarding the Tablet question, I purchase an iPad Air and I have no problems to transfer pictures, I also purchase a Lighting to SD Card Camera Reader, an Apple accessory for the iPad Air for about $30.00. The procedure to import photos from an SD Card is very simple:

1. Insert a memory card that contains photos or videos into the Lighting SD Card Camera Reader
2. Turn On iPad and attach the Lighting to SD Card Camera Reader to the Lighting port.
3. On iPad, select the pictures and videos that you want to import.

Hopefully this will help to answer your question. My advise will be to purchase the iPad.
