When I charge this battery the charger light turns green. But when I take it out and insert it into my camera it says remaining capacity 73%. Recharge performance - 3 green bars. My question is: Should I just recycle this battery and not use it anymore? I like to see my batteries 80% and above.

Please tell me why this bull's-eye is in the middle of this shot. It is in every one of the Aurora's picture I took in AK last month. It is hard to see on a small screen but on my 80" screen it is quite visible. I can't see anything on my lens (Tokina 11-16 F2.8). I appreciate any help to get this bull's eye out of my future Aurora shots. Thanks!!!

At what distance (100 yards, 200 yards, etc.) can you still get a sharp photo of a moving or standing still animal in normal daylight with the Sigma Sport lens? I do realize that the closer the subject the sharper the picture. However, sometimes those bears and wolves are a long way off!

Is it possible to remove the entire background from this picture? I'm thinking about putting it on an all white canvas so the peacock will show up better.

We were in Yellowstone (Lamar Valley) for 4 days. A pack of 6 wolves were feasting on a recent kill. (a bull elk). They were in constant competition with ravens and magpies. We stay in a motel in Gardner, MT and drive into the park. A tremendous trip and great weather!! We drove there from north GA.

Just got back from Yellowstone and did not get "tack sharp" pictures of the wolf pack we saw 350 yards away. What lens would I need to get better pictures and where could I rent a lens someplace close to Yellowstone in January? I have a Canon 60D with a Sigma 120-400 lens. Yes, the lens was on a tripod.

Can anything be done to this picture to get the two caribou jumping at each other clearer? Thanks for any suggestions.

Last winter I took some pictures of the Northern Lights in northern AK. They were pretty good - used the 20mm f/l.8 EX Sigma lens on my Canon 60D. Next March I'm going to AK again to try to get better pictures but want a lens that is more wide angle with an f stop of around 2.8. Any suggestions of what lens I should buy will be greatly appreciated. Also is the fish eye lens real wide angle? Would that type lens be appropriate for taking pictures of the Aurora Borealis?

To mainly Treehugger & Stacie7: My husband agrees with both of you. His solution is to always save and display the original photo and the one with objects removed. In that way, he says that we can remain "in the moment" and be "artcy fartcy" too.

Wow! Thanks, when I post again I will check "store original." Can Photoshop be put on more than one computer? I'm going to be traveling soon and would like to put it on my laptop and desktop. Will I need to buy two copies of Elements 11?

Treehugger you just made me laugh out loud. I will make an attempt to post a picture (which I've never done here before) to give an example of an unwanted object in a picture. The car in the back ground makes this elk look like I was in an elk park.

Here is a one minute adjustment with Photoshop. You can get similar or better results with Elements.

If you check "store original" when you upload folk can help work on the full file. Otherwise it is just a very low resolution thumbnail.
