Thank you for the info. The mark IV is not in this years budget. I'm hearing it can be done when connected camera to light room. Maybe Ill just have to bring my lap top to my shoots.

I have the Apple Ipad pro and want to know if it can be connected (tethered) to my Canon 5D mark III so I can see the pictures as I shoot them on the ipad.
I also want to save my pictures in the raw format to my camera and the Ipad pro. I do not want to use the memory cards that make your camera wireless. I have found that to be way to slow. I don't mind being tethered to the ipad. I know nothing about how to do this and can use all of the help I can get. I hope someone can help me do this with step by step directions. Thank you to all for what ever help you can offer

I shouldn't have done it but my 63rd birthday is next week and I couldn't hold it in any longer, I just ordered a refurb 70D. Sure hope I like it. I have a XTi, T5i, 40D, sx50, and now a 70D on the way. Lady was nice, I chatted a rep as it wouldn't let me put in my suite number at work, we got it and she gave me free 2nd day FedEx shipping.

Im gona be 73 next month. Wondering if you would buy me one too.

Interesting idea, I remember reading Gowland's column in Popular Photography when I was starting out, 1966?

I have had many conversations with Peter, what at great guy. I also have spoken with Alice his wife. She too was good at photography and a super helper to him. Iv collected many of Peters 28 books and always looking for more. Thank you for viewing my work.

I am all about making my own props. Photographer Peter Gowland has always been my inspiration. I called him my photography guru. He even wrote the forward for my current photography book. Converting this piano into a bubble bath was a lot of work and great fun to shoot. I have a friend who owns a golf course. He was very happy to let me do this shoot at night on the golf course. When I explained to the models about the shoot they loved the idea. I keep a supply of musical instruments on hand they too make super props.

Well done. Would you mind describing your method?

The process is simple. But takes a lot of practice. You need very fast strobe duration, About 1/12000 of a second . Shots must be done in a totally dark room or you will get ghosting.

Nice shots. I think No.2 is my favourite.
I saw a tutorial on this a couple of weeks ago. The photographer took several shots of milk being thrown onto the model until her torso was covered. She then merged selected shots into her final image.

These shots were all done with one toss of milk or paint. I know of the method you spoke of. Mine is much easier.
