I am looking to buy a bridge camera. Think I’ve narrowed it down to a Nikon Coolpix P950 or the Canon Power Shot SX 70. Am I giving up quality of picture for more zoom with the Nikon??
I am taking a trip to Alaska in May and I am wondering what type of Lens I should be taking. I have a Canon Rebel T6 and I do have a EFS 55-250mm lens. I am a novice with this camera and the world of lenses. I just want to be prepared for taking pictures of Glaciers and wildlife. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What are your thoughts on the Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM LENS for my canon Rebel T6. I think this might be a good entry level lens to take on a trip.

Thanks for all the replys. I have figured out that the hotshoe does not work with that flash. I connected with the bar attachment and and switched to slave and it works fine.
I jave read the very small 8 page manual. Model VIV SF 4000.
Just bought it. Said it would work with my camera.
