thanks everybody for all the ideas. money is not really an option and for now where I'm living its mostly for taking the northern lights and moose. i suppose i just don't want it to be to bulky and heavy but it going to the ground and up a good height is good. thank you all so much again, i do appreciate ye all taking the time :)

Beautiful dog! Thanks. The one in my picture is a Jack Russell, the most loving dog I've ever owned. Her name is Susie.

i love jacks but there so full of every. actually hank is a strange one, he doesn't really play with other dogs but for the 3 friends he has ever had in different states they have all been jack russells :-D

These were the closest I could get as far as interaction between the two! Any suggestions for next time?

beautiful photos, I'm a huge dog lover and have a million of my little man :P i think the first pic is a bit forced looking, it looks like she is pulling the dog into her. the second would be perfect if only the dog was looking at the camera but its tuff. tonight i bought a new coat for hank and took about 20 pics of him before he actually looked at me, i think he was expecting to be taken to the park straight away :-) keep up the good work

a huge thank you back atcha. I turned fifty today and am no longer young except in maturity, then im juvenile. :!:  :D God has blessed me in so many ways but especialy by providing for me my four legged furrry feline companion rascal. hes smarter than me more stuborn than me and worst of all a better flirt with the ladies (human) than me. But he is the best thing for a lonely soul and I Praise Jesus for him every dayy. I apreciate your kindness. the world would be a beeter place if " I hope you decide that kindness will be your guide, put a little love in your heart" I cant remember who sang that song.

I never was able to get Camera Raw to work with CS3 so finally broke down and bought CS5. CS5 wouldn't work on my old PC so I had to buy a new computer. ARGGGG!

But I must say I love CS5 and I was about due for a new computer anyway. Adobe can be downright unsupportive sometimes!!!

I'm new here. I do lots of photography and lots of photoshopping. It's the creative way I say:-)

here is my basenji/corgai mix but he sure has all the characteristics of a basenji like grooming himself like a cat and always sleeping on the back of the couch or chair and because he is a mix he wont loose his wrinkles on his forehead (well i hope he doesn't anyway) and he also has a strange bark, lol!!! well just tought i'd share

Spent the day hiking today with the goal of photographing two local waterfalls I had never been to. I did get some waterfall shots, but I just had to share my bonus shots of the day. If you have figure out anything about me from my previous posts, you can imagine how excited I was, which always seems to affect the quality of my work. But in my defense, the sun was really bright coming down through the trees and I was using a 300 zoom...tree leaves kept getting in the way of really sharp focusing, with that in mind....critique away!

PS...did I mention how excited I was?

Your facts are not facts. The picture was taken on at midnight on Jan 1st 2000 the millenium. Three of the photographs on the post where not taken by me, the moderator quetioned it at the time and is aware of that.

Once again before you throw mud make sure the mud your throwing is mud and not something else.

why would you even upload pictures that were not yours to begin with and not even state that they were not yours?
