Nice ones. Squirrel feeder? What’s a squirrel feeder? I have a dozen or so running around my yard, and I’ve never fed them. Well, there are plenty of walnuts, so . . . .
In all this hash of discussion I have probably missed any mention of the UBER self-driven vehicles being removed from service because one of them killed a real person. Auto is useful sometimes, and so is manual mode. By the way, I have been an Alfa Romeo driver for more years than I would like to admit to, but in my elder years I drive an automatic transmission car.
The beast was a '99 Ford 450 diesel dual rear wheels, special body that came new with a gooseneck for pulling a horse trailer. I replaced that with a small 5th wheel (not the usual pull pack from Camper World). It pulled a 40 ft Avion trailer from Harrisburg PA to as far south as Key West, as far west as El Paso and then as far north as Seattle and back through the western states east to to Bar Harbor Maine, and never grunted. I wish I still had it !!! Ferraris come and go. I was happy with my Alfas.
I prefer to hand-carry. My no-name handle adjusts to any mounting anchor, has a holder for an off the camera flash at the top of the handle, and the grip fits almost any size set of fingers. There is a strap to secure your hand around the handle. The camera is always instantly available, without having to find a comfortable hand position. I have carried it around the world for over 50 years, and it has adapted well to every body. Having only one hand free has not affected my wanderings at all.
